As I am sure all cat lovers will agree, there is no humor quite like cat humor. There is just something about the ability of our feline friends to exude all this dignity and a holier-than-thou attitude at one moment (well, some of them at least) and then be the goofiest thing you've ever seen the next. This is part of what makes them such a perfect inspiration for memes, as these abrupt tonal changes are both funny and easy to use in the world of entertaining internet pictures. It seems a shame that cats may never know how truly entertaining they are, but the people that love them sure do. That is why cat memes are one of the most enduring and popular genres of internet humor, and it looks like it is going to stay that way for the foreseeable future.
